My name is Kitty O’Donnell, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I was born in Newark, New Jersey. Growing up in Newark was in itself an excellent education in “life studies”. I received my MSSW from UT Austin, Texas. My clinical experience is varied as I have worked in many areas of the field. I have over 20 years experience. I have worked in Psychiatric hospitals with acute mental illness and in residential with adolescents, I have worked with Active Duty combat soldiers and their PTSD, I have worked in a prison with the inmates, I more recently worked in a non-profit for about 6 years, and worked with the homeless, mental health issues as Bipolar I and II, schizophrenia , trauma, depression, and worked crisis situations. I have worked with addicts and alcoholics and have a unique perspective in that area,

I enjoy what I do, I am a bit “different” and that brings another positive aspect to my practice as a therapist. I am a solution focused therapist, to help the client find the solution that will help the most. I am the messenger, I bring the message to you. My objective is to created a safe and positive environment in which you feel comfortable and able to process in confidence.
I use my experience to meet the individual needs of each client, as each of you are unique and deserve what will best serve you. I have vast life experience and have also processed and healed issues in my own life, and I feel that it is having an edge, as what better to help someone by someone who has been there and able to get to the other side of healing. I love what I do and that in itself is a plus. I will be happy to work with you and your needs.
